Full Overview
Dunlop’s 2025 FX 500 blends a modern 100 in² head with a light 300 g frame, offering a large sweet spot and easy head-speed for aggressive players. The updated “Power Boost+” frame geometry and “Power Wave” grommet system boost stability and power, while the Sonic Core with Infinergy in the head dampens vibration for comfort. This makes the FX 500 attractive for players seeking a lightweight yet powerful and spin-friendly frame, suitable for fast baseline rallies or all-court aggressive play.

The 2026 update makes this the best power racquet around
Generous power and easy depth from the baseline make this racket fun to play with. You can really let loose on serves and groundstrokes and still get good spin, though I had some inconsistency when trying to flatten out shots.
Great combo of accessible power and heavy spin potential. It’s easy to whip through the hitting zone and the higher launch angle helps keep balls in play. Very pleased with the performance overall.
Nice pop and feel, but I noticed some balls sailing long when I tried to flatten them out. It’s a lively racket, but consistency wasn’t as easy for me as with other power sticks.
Very maneuverable and comfortable, which helped me handle quick exchanges at the net. I love the depth I get on serves and topspin balls, though it can feel a bit too lively on off-center contact.
Awesome racket for aggressive baseline play. Plenty of power and lots of spin — it’s easy to generate pace even when you’re not swinging extremely hard. Comfortable enough for longer sessions too.
Love the energy and pace this frame generates, but at times it feels like I need to rein in the power to stay consistent on tighter targets. Still very fun from the baseline.
I enjoy how this racquet launches balls with speed and spin without feeling harsh. The comfort is surprisingly good for a power-oriented stick, and the generous sweet spot helps on off-center hits.
A lively stick with easy access to power and spin. It’s forgiving enough for baseline rallies and quick on serves, though I’d like a bit more precision on directional targeting.
I liked how easy it was to generate pace, but I struggled with consistency on long cross-court rallies. The feel is nice and comfortable, yet it still took some time to get used to the balance of power versus control.
