On-Court Playability
On court the Speed MP Legend feels quick in hand with a controlled launch angle and easy access to topspin. From the back of the court you can take full, modern swings without the ball flying, which suits players who like to work the corners rather than rely on raw power. The 23 mm beam and mid-300s strung weight give enough stability for redirecting pace, but the frame still feels whippy on defence. At net it offers a plush, damped response that rewards clean technique and touch play. On serve it gives a good blend of racquet-head speed and directional control, making it easy to mix flat deliveries with spin serves without feeling overpowered.

Full Overview
The Head Speed MP Legend is a special edition cosmetic of the current Speed MP, keeping the same 100 in² head, 300 g unstrung weight and 16x19 string pattern in a 23 mm constant beam. Auxetic 2.0 in the layup and a relatively flexible, low-60s RA give the racquet a controlled, damped response compared to many modern tweeners. It aims to sit between power and control: more pop and spin than a traditional players frame, but more precision and flex than a pure power stick.

Feels lively and stable. Not the flashiest on spin, but once you’re in rhythm the depth and precision are pleasing, especially from the baseline.
Solid feel but I struggled to generate enough spin and power for my serves. It’s a capable racquet but not the easiest to whip up pace with.
Really enjoyed the blend of power and feel. Good stability and comfort through heavier strikes, though serving still takes adjustment.
Nice handling and smooth feel on contact. Not overwhelming in any single category, but reliable and consistent overall.
Balanced performance that suits a variety of styles. Feel through the stringbed is plush and comfortable, and consistency was good for rallies.
