On-Court Playability
This new generation Vcore emphasizes spin potential and forgiveness while increasing control and all‑court versatility. Previous versions of the Vcore like other Yonex rackets had been criticized for being overly muted. The 2026 Vcore addresses that with new beam profile, and layup, maximising its spin-friendliness, whilst improving control and stability. The new mould improve the areo profile of racket, increasing the swing speed for all swing types, including flat hitters.

Very easy to generate depth and spin with this racquet. The aerodynamic feel made it comfortable to swing fast on the rise and I could really attack with heavy topspin. I also found it quite confident on serves and volleys, giving me a consistent feel through longer rallies.
Love how this racquet swings through the ball. It’s very spin-friendly, and I noticed I could keep the ball deep even when I wasn’t hitting with full pace. Maneuverability at the net is great, although it does reward clean contact to stay consistently accurate.
I liked the spin and depth I could get with this racquet, but it was a bit tricky to find consistent control for flatter shots. It’s definitely fun to swing, but I needed to dial in my string setup and timing before I felt comfortable in longer baseline rallies.
Very enjoyable for topspin baseliners. I felt the frame helped launch high-kicking shots that pushed opponents back. It’s also stable and predictable enough for offensive volleys, but is less forgiving on off-center hits than some other tweener frames.
Balanced racquet that feels quick through the air and responsive at contact. I particularly liked it on serves and when looking to change the direction of the ball. I did notice that string choice mattered a lot for comfort and control, but overall it’s a very nice playtest racket for all-court players.
